Workshop Overview

This workshop will focus on how middle leaders can monitor, evaluate and support colleagues in their assessment for learning to ensure all students make the best possible progress. The workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to be effective in their role. The key areas of focus will be:

  • How do we ensure the assessment data is robust and accurate?
  • How do we make use of this assessment data?
  • How do we empower our teachers to be part of the pupil progress monitoring cycle?
  • How will this data and analysis inform future planning of time, resources and curriculum time?
  • How to design and schedule a robust quality assurance cycle for teaching and learning.
