Teaching and Learning through the lens of Inquiry, Golden Jubilee School, September 2021

Date: September 13, 2021 Last week we did a workshop for the primary school teachers of Golden Jubilee School. During the workshop the participants through an Inquiry approach explored the Inquiry Cycle, strategies and tools for adopting and Inquiry-based approach. Through hands-on engagements, they designed a unit planner and made the shift towards planning with peers, utilising the powerful tool of collaboration to enhance student learning.

The Teaching and Learning through the lens of Inquiry was an eye opener to all of us. We learnt how we can ignite curiosity in the students to learn something new where they take the ownership of their learning. The facilitator kept us engaged through a variety of activities which the we can also apply in our classrooms. We feel much better equipped with inquiry based approach to apply in our classrooms. We have started practicing it and can see the difference in the classrooms. We do believe in taking this forward and bringing a positive change in our students. Thank you very much to Priyamvada ma’am for bringing this workshop to our school.
