Developing your leadership philosophy

Workshop Overview

What sets great leaders apart, and how do you ensure your impact as a leader is growing? This workshop is an opportunity to focus on evaluating and developing your personal leadership philosophy. Through research, practical application and professional dialogue, we will come to understand the scope and application of leadership, the differences between leadership and management – and why both are essential skill sets in effective school leaders.

We will consider how you successfully engage with the community, and culture, around you. We will explore how, in developing your own leadership strengths and understanding your potential blind spots, you will be empowered to inspire and develop the strengths of others through empathetic and technical collaboration. Finally, we will focus on how you bring this all together to create a lasting, positive impact on your learning community.
