We will explore framework/s for curriculum design such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Understanding by Design (UBD) principles to support flexible instruction, remove barriers to learning, unpack standards to identify big ideas and assess to know that students truly understand and can apply their knowledge.

Through a series of hands-on activities and discussions, participants will have the opportunity to apply the principles of learning design to their own context and develop practical strategies for designing effective unit plans
