Workshop Overview
What if a single question, image, or scenario could ignite curiosity and drive deep learning? This workshop explores the power of provocations and questions —those intentional sparks that challenge thinking, inspire inquiry, and open doors to meaningful exploration.
Participants will:
Learn how to design and implement effective provocations and questions that encourage critical thinking and student-led learning.
Discover the importance of timing—how provocations and well crafted questions can be used strategically throughout learning, not just at the beginning.
Explore strategies to challenge assumptions and foster deeper engagement across subject areas, beyond just inquiry-based learning.
Gain insights into the theory behind provocations and questioning, alongside practical applications for the classroom.
Develop as educators by refining their ability to create dynamic, responsive learning environments that nurture curiosity and deeper thinking.
Empower students to take ownership of their learning, engage more meaningfully with content, and develop critical questioning and problem-solving skills.
