Designing, Planning and Assessing for Inquiry

Date: December 30, 2022 During this workshop educators had the opportunity to understand various inquiry processes and their value and function in support of teaching and learning. We connected research with practical protocols for planning for teacher guided, student-led and emerging inquiries and inquiry based projects. We also delved into ways of observing, evidencing, measuring and reporting on inquiry and the impact of those processes on teaching and learning.

Snapshot of participants’ feedback:

To nail the thinking, and how to design the process, Ms. Aga is the best resource person. I enjoyed the workshop and benefited a lot from it.

Inderjeet Kaur Shewale, Children’s Academy, Mumbai

Amrita, Children’s Academy, Mumbai

This course was a window into a whole new way of teaching and learning! It is a well-structured programme that made possible new learnings and insightful discussions. Priyamvada, Margaret, and Urs left no stone unturned to ensure that each participant’s learning was interesting and permanent. The synchronous and asynchronous sessions together provided me with a thorough understanding of the IBDP framework, and left me wanting to know more!

Vidhupriya, The Shri Ram School – Aravali, Gurgaon

I had an amazing learning journey during the session. The facilitator brought ideas and provocations to the table which can be applied in the teaching and learning process. The teacher toolbox is a brilliant way of storing assessments on the go.

Michelle Teresa Noronha, Lady Andal School, Chennai

It was a wonderful workshop. The facilitator gave an in-depth apprehension of various models of inquiry which gave me various possibilities of improvement in the overall development of the child.
