Literacy 2.0: Readers and Writers workshop, Victorious Kidss Educares, Pune

Date: July 15, 2024 Our recent workshop explored the evolving concept of Literacy 2.0, moving beyond traditional reading and writing to include media literacy, information and data literacy, visual literacy, and critical thinking skills. The focus was on equipping learners to create and evaluate various forms of media and to discern the authenticity and intentions behind modern communication.

The workshop aligned with the Readers and Writers Workshop approach, emphasizing the importance of process-oriented learning. Participants engaged in activities to enhance their literacy and inquiry toolboxes, learning how to facilitate reading, writing, and media literacy workshops effectively.
