The Storyline workshop led by Eryn Wiseman, was attended by educators from pre-primary through high school. Participants were surprised by the way they were able to weave a story around almost any subject concept and confronted with their own misconceptions as this approach can also be used for abstract concepts. Learning moments included understanding that effective teaching and learning does not stop at assessment, concrete and stable flow of feedback is absolutely necessary to help students. Planning with the end goal and reiteration in mind are vital. Participants left wanting to explore more about the use of stories to personalise the learning experience, using stories to create interdisciplinary units and most of all to share this learning with colleagues at work. Here is the snapshot of participants feedback:
It was a great learning experience, especially while taking Story Telling to the middle and high school curriculum. Eryn is a great facilitator. The sessions were very well designed giving us ample time to develop a unit plan. Everyone got a chance to share their views which was particularly insightful and helped in understanding what the other members were thinking.

TThank you for conducting this wonderful workshop on Storyline. It was a very enriching experience. The fact that we were individually guided during the workshop was really helpful.
