Understanding Leadership

Date: October 8, 2020 Last week we did a workshop with twenty school leaders on “Understanding Leadership”. It was an opportunity to come together as a community of school leaders and reflect on how best we use our energy, resources and time to focus on what matters in schools.

We shared three days of honest dialogue, best practices and building a leadership toolkit we could use in the future. At the end of learning focussed three days together leaders had a greater understanding of themselves and the concept of leadership. They felt more empowered and ready to take the first next step on their journey back to their school to positively impact student learning.

Here is what the participants had to say about their experience: A very interactive and insightful workshop. Helen was an excellent facilitator and kept the group continuously engaged. I didn’t realise how the time just flew. I would definitely recommend this workshop for anyone interested in understanding leadership styles and managing teams. Time well spent !
