Date: August 20, 2023 This workshop introduced participants to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework. Throughout the workshop, teachers explored the various lenses of UDL to support them in creating inclusive and engaging learning environments for all students. Participants learnt how to apply the three principles of UDL, namely multiple means of representation, action and expression and engagement to address diverse learning needs.

The participants left the workshop with an understanding of a new concept ready to implement it in their classrooms. Here is a snapshot of participants feedback:

I throughly enjoyed the workshop. It was engaging and I felt there is lot that I can do. It has built a different perspective about learning and clearly differentiated many of the misconceptions. The activities during workshop were constructive and reflective.
