Workshop Overview
The online workshop is designed for instructional leaders, coaches, and school administrators who want to grow their leadership capacity through instructional coaching. Across four interactive sessions, participants will explore coaching models that empower teachers and build collaboration to improve student learning outcomes.
The workshop introduces key coaching frameworks and focuses on the skills of active listening, questioning, and feedback that support professional growth. Participants will also examine protocols for classroom observation and explore how to shift them from evaluative tools into opportunities for learning.
Through guided practice, role-play, and collaborative discussion, participants will apply coaching strategies to real situations from their own schools. The workshop concludes with reflection and action planning, giving each participant the chance to identify their strengths, set coaching goals, and design a leadership plan.
*Our workshops are based on the principles of ‘flipped classroom’ and are a combination of synchronous (live teaching through Zoom) learning and asynchronous (pre-reading and home learning) learning. Pre-reading and home learning in between sessions forms the basis of the live session where we explore the workshop material in depth through learning engagements and discussions.*
