Workshop Overview

How can leaders build relationships and develop high performing teams? Highly effective and adaptable teams can produce extraordinary results. Research increasingly links an organisation’s success with strong teams. During this course we will investigate:

• how high performing teams are created
• the school climate that is needed to sustain these teams
• determine team expectations and goals
• facilitate team development
• and ways in which you nurture your teams to even greater success

Nicola Holloway

Nicola Holloway has over 25 years of experience in international education as a school leader, consultant, and coach. She has held senior leadership positions including Head of Primary, Deputy Head, and Assistant Principal in schools across Asia and Europe, and has contributed to the IB community for more than a decade as a workshop facilitator, school visitor, and consultant.

Alongside her leadership and consultancy work, Nicola is an experienced coach and mentor, supporting educators to grow as confident and purposeful leaders. She is currently pursuing her PhD in sustainable leadership, bringing both practical experience and research insight to her work.

Nicola’s areas of expertise include Inquiry-based learning, assessment, curriculum design, leadership development, safeguarding, and wellbeing.
