Inquiry and Literacy

Date: February 16, 2021 The Inquiry and Literacy workshop experience was a perfect opportunity for teachers to update and expand their literacy and inquiry toolboxes for the elementary classroom. It helped the teachers to build their own approaches to facilitating reading, writing and media literacy workshops in their classrooms as well create sustainable processes supporting inquiry and 21century skills of their learners.

The fabulous teacher-learners who took part in our most recent workshops have shown incredible commitment to building further understanding and insight into new literacy and inquiry approaches and their daily applications in their classroom settings. Through research, reflection, continuous feedback to feedforward and critical analysis of the already existing tools and practices the workshop participants have made connections across creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills and based on latest research and a variety of examples of best practice. They build their own models of literacy workshops and inquiry based projects and experiences to implement in their classrooms.

Thank you Aga for facilitating a very engaging, interactive and collaborative workshop for us. Sharing snapshot of participants’ feedback…..

Seldom do we come across a workshop which is so engaging and caters to most of the class requirements in terms of effecting teaching.

Aga is a lively and experienced workshop facilitator who engages her participants. She went out of her way to make each participant feel respected and comfortable. She willingly shared from her wealth of experience and knowledge and from her vast repertoire of resources, tools and strategies. Although the workshop was on weekdays, the time just flew by. I think that your organisation is doing a great job of bringing experienced workshop leaders to train educators.

Nita Luthria Row, Bombay International School, Mumbai

Priyamvada Consulting offered a great interactive workshop hosted by the amazing Aga Chojnacka around the connections between inquiry and literacy. Taking this workshop allowed me to gain a better perspective about both concepts. Thank you Priya and Aga for creating an environment that nurtured learning and curiosity.
