Understanding and Implementing Readers and Writers workshop

Date: November 30, 2024 This three-session workshop for Grades 3 to 8 guided educators through the Writers Workshop model, a research-backed approach to foster creativity, engagement, and writing proficiency.

During the workshop participants explored the writers’ model and its integration with other curricular frameworks, learned to design and deliver effective mini lessons, and examined support structures that personalize learning.

Through hands-on activities, discussions, and collaboration, educators left equipped to implement Writers Workshop effectively, nurturing a passion for reading and writing while honoring student voice and choice.
