Transdisciplinary learning for subject specialists

Date: May 19, 2021 The workshop flew by as the participants who were predominantly subject specialist teachers engaged in thinking routines, guided collaborative planning, discussions and reflections on their practices. Transdisciplinary learning was inquired into in terms of concepts, transdisciplinary knowledge and approaches to learning skills.

The commitment that the participants demonstrated towards the various components of the workshop and their open collaboration with colleagues was commendable. When you hear from participants that they didn’t need a 5 break and be in front of a screen for 2.5 hours for 3 continuous days it’s a testimony of their commitment to their students. Kudos to all the educators who regularly invest in their professional learning!

Here is a snapshot of participants’ feedback who attended the workshop:

I found the workshop to be very informative, constructive and just what I needed at this stage of initiating transdisciplinary learning in my own organization. All the information given and shared was extremely helpful and has inspired and motivated me to move forward with some new ideas. Would love to join the sessions done by your company in future and continue to learn.
